About the Team
Within the Addactis ecosystem, our international offices provide our clients with the combination of geographical proximity, knowledge of local regulations, and the experience of a global network of Addactis people working in synergy. Our team in Bogotá manages implementation projects throughout Latin America and works closely with our teams in the Iberian Peninsula and with the Products and Technology Departments in France.
The Legal Officer will play a key role in ensuring that Addactis Latina operates in full compliance with Colombian law, applicable international standards and Addactis’ General terms and conditions, while supporting the organization's strategic and operational objectives.
Main responsibilities
Based in Bogotá and reporting directly to the General Counsel based in France, you will act as Legal Officer for Addactis Latina and be a key contributor to the Group Legal team, with a particular focus on accelerating contract negotiations across our Spanish-speaking markets.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts (software licenses, SaaS agreements, services agreements, NDAs, partnership agreements...) with clients and partners across Latin America.
Acting as the primary legal point of contact in the region while ensuring compliance support to sales teams to accelerate the signature of contracts.
Ensuring that all contractual arrangements comply with Colombian law, applicable Latin American regulations and Addactis group’s standards, with particular attention to intellectual property and software-related provisions.
Contributing in implementing and monitoring group legal processes, templates and best practices locally, and contributing to their continuous improvement in light of regional specificities.
Advising internal stakeholders (Sales, Delivery, Finance, Management) on contractual, IP and commercial law matters, and flagging legal risks at an early stage.
Supporting the wider Legal team during peak periods (quarter-ends, year-ends) and providing back-up coverage when needed, contributing to overall team resilience.
Coordinating with external counsel in Colombia and across Latin America when is required.
Profile
Profile – you are
A qualified lawyer with an academic background in business law and contract law, ideally with a specialization in intellectual property and/or software law.
Having studied law in Colombia fully familiar with local rules, customs and contractual practice.
Strong understanding of the region's business culture.
Bringing a first successful professional experience in commercial contract law, gained in-house or in a law firm. Experience with software, SaaS or technology contracts is a strong plus.
Fluent in Spanish and English (working proficiency). French would be a real plus but is not required.
Available and mobile: comfortable spending an initial training period of 4 to 6 weeks in France to be onboarded on Addactis group’s processes and best practices, and open to occasional travel to France thereafter (approximately 1 or 2 time a year)
Rigorous, autonomous and solution-oriented, with strong drafting and negotiation skills and the ability to engage credibly with clients' legal teams.
