Personal data protection charter


The Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, commonly known as GDPR (Anglo-Saxon abbreviation) or RGPD (French abbreviation), aims at reinforcing the security and the protection of these data processed by the companies in the European Union.

This charter (hereinafter referred to as the or this “Charter”) informs users of the https://careers.addactis.com website (hereinafter referred to as the "Website"), in a concise, comprehensible and easily accessible format, of the processing of their personal data.

  1. Who are we ? 

ADDACTIS France SAS, registered in the Lyon Trade and Companies Register under number 413 611 344 and whose head office is at 46 bis, chemin du Vieux Moulin - 69160 TASSIN-LA-DEMI-LUNE, and/or the subsidiaries of the Addactis Group listed below act as joint controllers of the processing of your personal data for the purposes of recruitment.

In this respect, each subsidiary of the Addactis Group works in close collaboration with ADDACTIS France in order to jointly define the conditions of data processing within the scope of each subsidiary.

The subsidiaries of the Addactis Group are :

ADDACTIS Netherlands, B.V. company governed by Dutch law, registered under company number 852501481, with its registered office at Paasheuvelweg 34-H, 1105 BJ Amsterdam (Netherlands) ;

ADDACTIS Portugal, a public limited company governed by Portuguese law, registered under company number 575725226, with its registered office at Passeio dos Cruzados, Loja 4, 1990-171 Lisbonne (Portugal) ;

ADDACTIS Worldwide SAS, a public limited company governed by Belgian law, Registered at the Banque-Carrefour of Enterprises under the company number 0645.900.531 with its registered office at Avenue Louise 120, 1050 Bruxelles (Belgium).


As a Joint controller, we are committed to strict compliance with the principles of the GDPR including:

  • Principle of minimisation: only the necessary personal data for the purposes stated are collected and processed.

  • Determined, explicit and legitimate purpose: the collected personal data is only used within the strict framework expressly provided for in this Charter.

  • Limitation of personal data accessibility: this is ensured by limiting the number of persons having access to said data and by a requirement of systematic confidentiality.

  • The principles of Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default: our Group applies these principles to all its products and services, from their conception to their distribution and evolution.


  1. What personal data do we collect ?

The personal data collected and processed about you are : 

  • Data relating to your identity, in particular your title, surname, first names, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, date of birth and age;

  • Data relating to your professional life, in particular the information contained in your CV and/or covering letter (training, professional background, etc.);

  • Public data, in particular information published on social networking sites such as LinkedIn;

  • Declarative data, in particular answers to recruitment tests or questionnaires, economic and financial information (e.g. salary expectations) and references;

  • Technical data, in particular your IP address or browsing information relating to your terminal;

  • Other data that you provide to us as part of your job or internship search or that we may receive from third parties.


We inform you that your personal data may be collected: 

  • When you send our online forms; 

In this case, mandatory personal data is marked with an asterisk (*). If you do not fill in these mandatory fields, you will not be able to submit your application via the form. 

The data not marked with an asterisk are optional. They enable us to get to know you better and improve the recruitment process.

  • Directly from you during our job interviews, whether written, telephone or face-to-face; 

  • Indirectly from professional social networks or other sources of public information, but also from a third party when obtaining a reference, where this information is useful in managing your application.


  1. Why and how do we process your personal data?

Taking up references by telephone or email with your former employers

This processing is based on your consent.  If you provide us with the contact details of a reference, it is your responsibility to ensure that they have been informed and have given their consent.

Unsuccessful application without CV-library approval: Up to the date of application rejection

Successful application: 5 years from the date the employee leaves the Addactis Group.

Improving the quality of service of our Website and analyse the browsing data

Depending on the cookies and trackers used, this processing is based either on your consent or on our legitimate interest in improving our services.

No personal data will be used for purposes not expressly provided for in this Charter.


  1. Who will be the recipients of your personal data? 

Within the Addactis Group, your personal data collected will only be processed by the persons responsible for the recruitment of the position for which you are applying, i.e.: the manager(s), the persons responsible for recruitment within the Human Resources Department and, where applicable, any employee involved in the recruitment process. 

Your personal data may also be processed by BANKESS, publisher of the DigitalRecruiters software used to post job offers, collect applications and manage them, and acting as ADDACTIS France's Data processor, solely for the purpose of carrying out the assignment entrusted to it. 

In this respect, BANKESS is authorised to access your personal data when strictly necessary, in particular in connection with its duties of administering and maintaining the Website and the software, but may not disclose such data to its own subcontractors without first obtaining the consent of ADDACTIS France. BANKESS may be required to communicate your personal data to a judicial authority at the latter's request.

In the event of recourse to Data processor, we conclude contracts with them that strictly define the terms and conditions of the processing and the guarantees that must be implemented regarding the protection of personal data, in accordance with the regulations in force.

None of your personal data may be transferred to third parties.




  1. Is your personal data transferred outside the European Union ?

The Addactis Group endeavours not to transfer or host personal data outside the European Union or in countries that do not provide adequate protection for personal data.

However, the recipients of your personal data may be located in countries other than those in which your data was collected. As part of the recruitment process and with your consent, your personal data may indeed be transferred to the Addactis Group subsidiary to which you have applied, even if that subsidiary is located outside the European Union.  


  1. How do we protect your personal data? 

An Information Systems Security Policy (ISSP) is implemented within the Addactis Group, specifically adapted to the nature of the data processed and the activities of the Addactis Group. Appropriate physical, logical and organisational security measures are provided to ensure the confidentiality of the personal data, and in particular to prevent any unauthorized access.


  1. What are your rights regarding your personal data and how can you contact us?

In accordance with the law in force, you have:

  • the right of access to your personal data that we process;

  • the right to request the rectification of your personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurate;

  • the right to erasure of your personal data;

  • the right to limit the processing of your personal data;

  • the right to object to the processing of your personal data, unless there is a compelling reason, without limitation.

You may also withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise your rights or obtain more information on the management of your personal data, you can contact the Data Protection Officer appointed by the ADDACTIS Group by email at dpo@addactis.com  or by post at the address of the publisher’s head office mentioned above.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Supervisory Authority of Data Protection if you do not receive a response to the exercise of your rights within 30 days.


  1. Revision of the charter

We may amend this Personal Data Protection Charter, particularly in the event of changes in the way we process personal data or in the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data.
